FAQs

We want you to feel comfortable and confident when joining our yoga classes. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, this FAQ section covers everything you need to know — from what to bring to class to our studio policies. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help!

Where should I park?

The closest car park is St Marys Car park. You can park at Sainsburys for free if you purchase something in the shop.

How early should I arrive?

You’re welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before class. The studio opens 15 minutes prior to the session, so please avoid arriving earlier to ensure a safe and prepared space for our teachers.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid anything too loose that might get in the way during poses.

What are your class prices and memberships?

I’m a total beginner. Which class should I start with?

We recommend starting with our beginner yoga class or intro to vinyasa but all classes (apart from Power Yoga) are suitable for beginners. Check out our classes here.

Do I need to be
flexible to do yoga?

Not at all! Yoga helps improve flexibility over time. Come as you are, and we’ll guide you at your own pace.

Will I be the only beginner in class?

No - Many people start yoga at all different levels. Our instructors provide modifications for all abilities.

Can I join a class without being a member?

Absolutely, you can get your first class free or use our drop in option, see more information here.

What should I bring
to class?

We have yoga mats, bolsters, straps, bricks and blankets so all you need, if you'd like to, is to bring a bottle of water.

Do I need to book in advance?

I have an injury or medical condition.
Can I still practice yoga?

It depends on the condition. Please consult your doctor first, then inform the instructor before class so they can offer modifications.

Is yoga safe during pregnancy?

Yes, but we recommend our specific pregnancy yoga classes or checking with your doctor before attending a regular class. You can view our timetable here.

What if I feel dizzy or lightheaded during class?

Listen to your body and rest when needed. You can always take a break in Child’s Pose or step out if necessary.

Can I eat before class?

Try to eat a light meal 1-2 hours before class. Avoid heavy meals right before practicing.

Can I leave class early?

We encourage you to stay for the full session, including relaxation at the end. If you must leave early, do so quietly before final relaxation (Shavasana).

What is your cancellation policy?

You cancel at any point but we'd really appreciate it if you cancelled at least a day in advance to allow other people in.
